JAMMU, Oct 5: A Ghazal Goshti was organised here today by Nami Dogri Sanstha at the Rajput Sabha Purani Mandi, Jammu.
During the programme, those who read their Dogri Ghazals , included Arash Om Dalmotra, Sham Talib, Capt Lalit Sharma, Rakesh Sharma Tript, Randhir Singh Raipuria, Shambu Ram Pyasa, Yash Paul Yash, Advocate Dogra Harish Kaila, Ramesh Rahi, Sardar M S Kamra, P L Parihar, Sandeep Singh Jamwal, Krishan Lal Mast, O P Shakir, Chaman Lal Sagoch, Jatinder Jolly and K K Shakir.
Prof Anupama Sharma, Patron Youth Wing of Nami Dogri Sanstha and renowned Dogri folk and light music singer, presided over the Goshti. Yash Paul Yash compered the programme while Capt Lalit Sharma presented welcome address and Advocate Nidhi Kaila Choudhry presented vote of thanks.
In his presidential address, Advocate Dogra Harish Kaila said that NDS welcomes the move of abrogation of Article 370 by the Modi Government and he demanded that Radio Kashmir Jammu and Kashmir should be renamed as Akashvani Jammu and Akashvani Kashmir or All India Radio Jammu and All India Radio Kashmir, respectively.
