JAMMU, Dec 20: A meeting of the BJP Minority Morcha Jammu and Kashmir was held today under the chairmanship of its president, Ranjodh Singh Nalwa, to discuss preparations for observance of Veer Bal Diwas and review ongoing organizational programmes.
The meeting focused on planning the Veer Bal Diwas on December 26 to commemorate the martyrdom of the four Sahibzadas, the sons of Guru Gobind Singh.
Addressing the meeting, Ranjodh Singh Nalwa said that the Minority Morcha has been consistently working to promote social harmony, cultural awareness and respect for the sacrifices made by great martyrs of the nation.
He informed that, as in the previous two years, the Morcha will organize the Bal Diwas programme on December 26 at Gurudwara Bahu Fort, Jammu, from 11 AM to 1:30 PM.
The supreme sacrifice of the four Sahibzadas at such a young age is a shining example of courage, faith and devotion to righteousness. Remembering their martyrdom is not only a religious duty but also a moral responsibility for society,” Nalwa said while addressing the participants.
He added that such programmes help inspire the younger generation with the values of bravery, sacrifice and commitment to truth. Nalwa further informed that Shabad Kirtan will be organized during the programme to pay tributes to the Sahibzadas. Floral tributes will be offered by BJP leaders and other participants as a mark of respect and reverence.
He said that the event would be organized with full devotion and discipline, keeping in view the sanctity of the occasion. Appealing to the people, Ranjodh Singh Nalwa urged all sections of society to participate in large numbers.
