JAMMU, July 24: Rasaamrut, a CD of bhajans sung by Naina Sapru a melodious singer in praise of her Guru Maharaj Ishwar Saroop Swami Laxman Joo was released at a simple but impressive function here at Ishwar Ashram Mohinder Nagar today.
Besides, prominent citizens and scholars, the function was attended by disciples of Swami Ji. The function was presided over by Dr R L Bhat a well known scholar who along with Soom Nath Sapru an ardent devotee of Swami Ji and representative of Ashram, Krishan Lal Warikoo another devotee of Swami Ji, well known artist Makhan Lal Saraf, Director Sharda Radio, Ramesh Hangloo, eminent artist, Bihari Kak, well known poet, P N Shad, Bimla Aima a noted poetess and Prof Virender Rawal released the CD.
T N Raina of Geeta Satsang Ashram and a social activist blessed Naina Sapru on the occasion.
The bhajans in the CD sung by Naina Sapru are in Hindi. She said that initiative for making the CD of Swami Ji’s pet bhajans was taken by Lt S P Dhar a devotee of Swami Ji and his dream was fulfilled today after the release of CD. She said her father S N Sapru was later instrumental in making this CD and fulfilling the dream of Mr Dhar.
