JAMMU, Oct 1: Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Ajeet Kumar Sahu today placed Naib Tehsildar, Girdawar and Patwari under suspension for dereliction of duty.
According to the official order, Naib Tehsildar Satwar Manjit Singh, Girdawar Bagh Ali and Patwari Mohd Shafiq have been placed under suspension by the Deputy Commissioner for their failure to protect the Government land from encroachment.
“Despite being aware of the encroachment on 10 kanal and 6 marlas of Government land at village Narwal Pain, these officials didn’t take action against the encroachers”, the order said, adding “the land has been retrieved from the encroachers and delinquent officials taken to task”.
