Nagrota Corps holds NoK rally

JAMMU, July 18: White Knight Corps today conducted a Next of Kin (NoK) rally at Usman Auditorium, Nagrota Military Station which was inaugurated by Dr (Mrs) Bandita Singh, Zonal President White Knight Corps, AWWA.
The rally was attended by approximately 300 NoKs, including Veer Naris and ex-servicemen. The aim was to reach out to NoK and resolve the problems being faced by them in a time bound manner.
Representative from Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS), Zila Sainik Welfare Office, PCDA and Resettlement Directorate delivered talk on various schemes and benefits available to NoK.
A medical camp was also organised at the venue wherein specialist facilities to include Eye, Medical and Surgical Specialists were made available. Stalls of various banks and Aadhar Registration Counter were other highlights of the rally.
Dr (Mrs) Bandita Singh, Zonal President White Knight Corps, AWWA, interacted with the Veer Naris and NoK and assured them of all necessary assistance and support of the White Knight Corps.
Year 2019 has been dedicated to Next of Kin by the Indian Army. Such rallies are being organised at all stations.
