KATHUA Apr 3: Police Post Nagri led by Sub Inspector, Jai Pal, in-charge Police Post, Nagri today seized a tractor with a trolley loaded with cement bags.
The cement bags were illegally being smuggled to evade tax by cement smugglers who assaulted on Excise sleuth on duty at Toll Plaza Nagri and fled away from the spot.
Soon after the incident police team rushed to spot and seized the cement bags along with tractor and registered a case FIR No.108/2019 U/S 353 RPC against two accused. The accused are identified as Makhan alias Sardaru and Raman both resident of Bati Morh Nagri. Police is searching for both the accused.
