NOWSHERA, Apr 30: Mystery shrouds the death of a 7th class student, whose dead body was found hanging in a Kucha cattle shed behind his house at Kangri village in Sunderbani today.
The deceased has been identified as 13-year-old Kartik Sharma, son of Vinod Kumar, resident of Kangri village. The family members said that the boy had untied the cattle during early morning and allowed them to move towards the nearby fields for grazing. Since then he was not seen with cattle or in the home. Later, his body was found hanging in the muddy cattle shed with the help of a rope.
Sunderbani police was informed about the matter. It examined the spot and then shifted the body for postmortem in SDH Sunderbani. It was later handed over to the family for last rites. The police has started investigation.
