JAMMU, Nov 17: Mohalla Welfare Committee (MWC), Gujjar Nagar held a meeting under the chairmanship of its president Ayub Malik and expressed concern over the slaughter houses situated in the residential area.
While speaking, Malik said that the slaughter houses are situated in the residential area, which is creating problems for the people.
Aftab Manhas, vice president urged the concerned authorities to take immediate action and shift the slaughter houses to some other place, apart from residential areas.
Shafqat Choudhary, general secretary demanded immediate construction of community hall for the convenience of the people residing in Gujjar Nagar and adjoining areas.
Among others present were AS Rather, Mohammad Sadeeq Malik, Mohammad Hussain Malik, Mohammad Wahahad, Mohammad Rafiq Khan and Abdul Rashid Malik.
