JAMMU, Oct 27: MV International School conducted an interactive session with N Senthil Kumar, Director-Admissions and Outreach North India, SRM Group of Institutions along with Sheikh Mehran Aslam, Assistant Manager Administration to help MVeans make better career choices in school and beyond schooling.
Students of classes XI & XII of Science, Commerce & Humanities streams attended the session. It covered three major portions of student’s life –Transition period from schooling to higher education, followed by how to choose best suitable career option and how to choose higher education Universities. The counseling session provided relevant and timely information to the students of MVIS for steps to be taken at different life stages.
The counselors interacted with the students and the event concluded with a vote of thanks from the Principal, MVIS. On the whole the session was very well received with a number of students expressing that their awareness levels have increased. The Students mentioned that it was a unique session that they have ever attended.
The Director, Gourav Abrol was present during the session, he motivated students for choosing alternate careers over the routine options.
