JAMMU, July 12: In the much publicized alleged sexual harassment case, Motor Vehicle Inspector Chander Mohan Sharma has received relief from the High Court.
After hearing Advocate Gagan Basotra in length, Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur issued notice to SSP Jammu, Gandhi Nagar SHO and alleged victim, directing them to file objection. In the meanwhile, the High Court ordered that subject to objections and till next date before the Bench, proceedings under FIR No.154/2019 dated 08.06.2019, registered with Police Station Gandhi Nagar only in regard to Section 354-E of the RPC shall remain stayed.
