Sensitises them regarding ill effects of drug abuse & road safety
BANDIPORA, May 7: Motor Vehicles Department (MVD) Bandipora on Monday organized multiple awareness programmes regarding ill effects of drug abuse and road safety at various Sumo stands of Sumbal Sub-Division including Sumo Stand Hajin, Chinar Sumo Stand Sumbal and Sheikh ul Aalam Sumo Stand Sumbal.
During the awareness programmes, ARTO Bandipora, Anis Ahmed sensitized drivers about ill effects of drug abuse, and also provided awareness to the drivers about road safety and the need to implement road safety measures.
The event also witnessed sensitization to the drivers whose services shall be utilized in the upcoming Lok Sabha Polls in Bandipora District.
ARTO while addressing the drivers sensitized them regarding their crucial role in the elections.
He stressed upon drivers to perform their poll related duties with added responsibility
MVD inspectors and other concerned from the Motor Vehicle Department were also present on the occasion.
