NEW DELHI, Apr 30: Mustard oil prices rose by Rs 50 per quintal in an otherwise steady wholesale oils and oilseeds market today on the back of increased demand from local parties.
Traders said increased demand from local parties mainly helped mustard oil prices to rise.
In the national capital, mustard expeller (Dadri) oil advanced by Rs 50 to Rs 7,300 per quintal.
Following are today’s quotations per quintal:
Oilseeds: Mustardseed 2,950-3,050 and Groundnut Seed 2,150-2,900.
Vanaspati Ghee (15-litre tin) 1,120-1,340.
Edible oils: Groundnut Mill Delivery (Gujarat) 7,400, Groundnut Solvent Refined (per tin) 1,900-1,950, Mustard expeller (Dadri) 7,300, Mustard Pakki Ghani (per tin) 1,290-1,370, Mustard Kachi Ghani (per tin) 1,375-1,475, Sunflower 6,300, Sesame Mill Delivery 9,800, Soybean Refined Mill Delivery (Indore) 7,550, Soyabean Degum (Kandla) 7,350, Crude Palm Oil (Ex-Kandla) 5,750, Cottonseed Mill Delivery (Haryana) 6,250, Palmolein (RBD) Rs 6,850, Palmolein (Kandla) 6,500, Rice Bran (phy) 3,800 and Coconut (per tin) 1,900-1,950.
Non-edible oils: Linseed 7,400, Mahuwa 4,000, Castor 9,450-9,550, Neem 5,300-5,400, Rice Bran 3,150-3,250 and Palm Fatty 3,200-3,300.
Oilcakes: Groundnut Dehusk 800-850, Sesame 950-1,150, Mustard (New) 1,000-1,025, Mustard 1,200-1,210 and Cottonseed 1,075-1,175. (PTI)
