JAMMU, Dec 21: Music of Dogri film “Geetiyan” was launched at Press Club today, while the film will be released in the first week of January, 2014.
This was announced by Tanveer Dar along with other artists of the film, while addressing a press conference. Mr Tanveer said that the film has been inspired by the real life incidents of the late 80’s which rocked Jammu and saw different type of gangs trying best to control City of Temples and disturb all walks of life of Jammuites. Adding he said that Jammuites will certainly be able to relate to the movie, especially the youngsters who will get to know the era of late 80’s.
On the occasion, Arvind Kumar, music director said that he has composed music for more than 50 sufi albums and worked with artists like Kamal Khan, Mazhar Ali and other musicians and added that there is sufi song in the movie.
Shubh Deep is the music arranger in the film and youngest music director of Bollywood to direct music for movie “Daag-the spot” being showed in many film festivals.
Suresh Wadkar is playback singer, Bhavya Pandit has struck the chord with audiences with the song of “Vicky Donor” Pani Da Rang, a female singer in the film, while Master Saleem, playback singer and live performer, Javed Ali and Suresh Chauhan are playback singers of the film.
Lucky Noor and Habib Kawishi lyricists and writers of the songs of the film. The movie has been directed by J&K State Cultural Academy, best director award winner Raahul Sharma. Director of photography is Bahrat Arora.
The film have used the best of technicians and latest technology available in exhibition and making the film scenes interested like “VFX” sound track on latest 5.1 platform.
