NEW DELHI: After blowing away viewer’s mind with the song ‘Nazarbattu’ from ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se’, Bollywood first ‘male-female’ music director duo Sachet-Parampara have come up with their next song ‘Hard Hard’ from the film ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’.
Sachet-Parampara, the music director duo, has collaborated with Bhushan Kumar and the song is picturised on Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor. It’s an upbeat club song, sung by Mika Singh, Sachet Tandon himself and Prakriti Kakar.
Talking about the song, Sachet Tandon says, ”It’s a very different song that you heard from Sachet-Parampara duo. It’s not a typical party song, yet you won’t be able to stop yourself from humming and dancing on the groovy tunes.
It is the first time we worked with Shahid & Shraddha Kapoor and it has been an incredible experience working with them. We as music directors do sometimes tend to tie down by very specific briefs, but at the same time, people like Shahid, Bhusan & Shree Narayan Singh, we could push the envelope for the song.”
On being asked about the collaboration and the journey, Parampara Thakur said, ”We share a great relationship with Bhushan Kumar but this is the first time we worked with Shahid & Shraddha. They are very encouraging and give honest feedbacks too.
There is an unspoken understanding between us so we wanted to experiment this time with this song. We are looking forward to our other songs as well for this film.”
Sachet-Parampara have also worked for the films like Akshay Kumar’s ‘Toilet- Ek Prem Katha’ and Sanjay Dutt’s ‘Bhoomi’. (AGENCIES)
