JAMMU, July 10: Nagrota Police foiled a murder attempt with the arrest of four persons along with country made pistol and three sharp edged weapons.
As per police sources, an information was received at Police Station Nagrota through reliable sources that some miscreants came with an intention to kill a person namely Aryan Verma alias Bonney.
Acting over the information, cases under FIR Numbers 313/2021 and 314/2021 under relevant sections of law were registered at Police Station Nagrota and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a special team from Police Station Nagrota led by SHO Inspector Mohammad Shoket was constituted under the supervision of SDPO Nagrota Parupkar Singh.
The team did strenuous efforts and took the help of CCTV footages of the area and finally arrested the four accused involved namely Vishal Sharma alias Vishu, son of Vijay Kumar of Galwadey Chak Gajansoo (History shelter of PS Kanachack), Arjun Singh, son of Devi Singh of Jourian, Shehzad Naik, son of Tariq Naik of Chatha Gujran Gajansoo and Vinod Kumar, son of Kunj Lal of Udheywala Talab Tillo. They were riding on the two vehicles including a motorcycle.
During search, one country made pistol and three sharp edged weapons were also recovered from them.
Further investigation into the cases is going on.
