Murder accused arrested within couple of hours

JAMMU, Sept 13: In a swift action, Miran Sahib Police arrested a murder accused within couple of hours.
As per police sources, a man identified as Mukesh Raina, son of Prakash Chander, a resident of Brij Nagar was attacked by another person identified as Surinder Kumar, son of late Jagdish Lal, a resident of Kharian with scissors inside a barber shop at TCP Kharian. The murderer managed to escape from the spot after committing the crime.
The profusely bleeding victim was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu, where doctors declared him as brought dead.
The body of the deceased has been shifted to the mortuary of GMCH Jammu for completing medical and legal formalities.
However, acting swiftly, a team from Police Station Miran Sahib led by SHO Inspector Mirza Sultan under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Shabir Khan and SP Headquarters Jammu Ramnik Gupta arrested the murderer within couple of hours.
A case FIR Number 107/2021 and Section 302 IPC has been registered at Police Station Miran Sahib and investigation started.
