REASI, Oct 6: Police today arrested an accused of murder case in Pouni, who had allegedly killed his father in law on October 1 and had been evading arrest since commissioning of the crime.
Acting upon specific information from reliable sources, a police team led by Inspector Sanjay Abrol, SHO P/S Pouni, nabbed the accused near Tali Morh (Jerri). Reasi.
The arrested accused, namely Mangat Ram son of Dhani Ram of Kharah Nar, Tehsil Pouni, District Reasi, was involved in case Fir NO. 58/2017 U/S 302 RPC, 4/25 Arms Act, registered at Police Station Pouni. He had brutally murdered his father-in-law Lal Chand (60), son of Ballu Ram, a resident of Khwas in Rajouri district, who had come to the house of accused at village Kharah for a patch-up between his son-in-law and the daughter.
