JAMMU, Apr 15: A Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) employee sustained injuries after he was attacked with a sharp-edged weapon by two persons at Bathindi area here today.
Officials said Vijay Singh of Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, was attacked with a sword and baton by one Harmeet Singh of Umar Colony, Bathindi and his minor son over some sanitation related dispute in the area.
They said the injured municipal employee was immediately taken to a hospital, where he is undergoing treatment.
Meanwhile, police have registered a case under the relevant sections of the law at the concerned police station and started further investigation into the matter.
