JAMMU, Aug 11: Municipal and Urban Local Bodies, Pensioners Association (MULBPA), Jammu province held a meeting under Y S Jamwal, president of the association, today.
The meeting expressed great concern that the agency prescribed by the concerned department for purpose of preparation of Aadhar Card has not supplied till date to all employees/pensioners and only a few numbers have been received the same through post. Moreover Government has yet not prescribed the Khidmat centres so far nor informed the people accordingly where they can now present themselves for photograph and identification/proof for obtaining Aadhar Cards/numbers before 30 September, 2015.
Keeping in view the said facts, the association has requested Director General Accounts and Treasuries, Finance Department J&K Government and all the Deputy Commissioners of Jammu regions to issue appropriate orders at the earliest and ensure employees/pensioners do not suffer in getting salary/pension after September, 2015 till the Aadhar numbers are supplied to all the prescribed agency under rules.
