JAMMU, July 1: Municipal and Urban Local Bodies Pensioners’ Association (MULBPA), J&K elected its new office bearers in its general body meeting held today under the chairmanship of outgoing president.
The meeting unanimously elected BS Jamwal (Advocate) as president, KG Khajuria as advisor, JR Sharma, Attar Singh and CL Koul as senior vice-presidents, Shiv Kumar Singh Jamwal and Mohan Lal Gupta as vice-presidents, BD Verma as general secretary, Jawahar Lal Sharma and Tarsem Lal Gupta as secretaries, YS Jamwal as chief spokesperson, RK Gupta as legal advisor, DP Kotwal, Sat Pal Karlupia, Tara Chand and Nana Ji Pandit as organizing secretaries, Surinder Singh Jamwal as cashier and Harcharan Singh, SK Sharma and Gurdev Singh as publicity secretaries.
Moreover, Raghubir Singh Sambyal, Kartar Singh, Mohd Aslam, HR Spolia, Balbir Singh Jamwal, Bahu-Du-Din Chowdhary, Irshad Hussain, MA Haffiz and Zubeda Begum were elected as district presidents for the promotion of the welfare of the pensioners of 3rd tier system of the Government.
Meanwhile, the general secretary rendered the accounts before the house which was passed unanimously.
