Jammu, Nov 3: Former Minister and vice president JKPCC Mula Ram during his tour of Raipur-Domana constituency addressed series of public meetings at Lale-da-Bagh, Barnai and Paloura and highlighted the problems of people.
Speaking in these meetings Mula Ram said that many development schemes started by him have been abandoned and no new scheme was taken in hand. Due to this the general public is facing the problem of road connectivity, electricity and drinking water etc. The CDF is misused and the constituency remained neglected. He said that a Degree College  was sanctioned for Raipur Domana but unfortunately, the representative of the Constituency did not take interest and the  college could not be set up in Raipur Domana. He said  that he will bring back the Degree College to Raipur Domana, if  the people give him a chance to serve them again.
He further said that the people of Raipur Domana Constituency, especially the farmers have suffered heavy loss in the recent devastating rains and floods. But it is unfortunate that the farmers of these areas have not been provided free ration. He demanded that Govt. should provide free ration to the farmers of Raipur Domana at par with the affected people of other areas. Besides the loss suffered by the farmers should be assessed and the compensation be provided as early as possible, so that they could prepare their fields for sowing ruby crops.
Shri Hari Singh Chib in his address said that  the Raipur-Domana Constituency is lacking behind in the field of development. The roads are in dilapidated condition, the power supply infrastructure such as  electric poles & electric wires are old and require replacement, the electric transformers requires to be upgraded and it looks the development is standstill for the last 5-6 years.
