MTWA calls on Drabu, Priya

JAMMU, Mar 20: A delegation of Migrant Teachers Welfare Association (MTWA), under the chairmanship of its president Ramesh Raina called on Minister for Finance, Haseeb Drabu and Minister of State for Education, Priya Sethi with regard to problems being faced by migrant employees in general and education employees in particular, here today.
The delegation in separate meetings with the Ministers, apprised them of the burning issues confronting the migrant employees and requested them for their early redressal.
Both the Ministers gave a patient hearing and assured the delegation that their genuine problems would be resolved on priority basis.
While ensuring the delegation that the Government is committed to safeguard the rights of the migrant employees, the Finance Minister gave on the spot instructions for redressing the genuine problems confronting the these employees.
Earlier, the delegation had also met their representative in the Government, Surinder Ambardar, Member Legislative Council, who also assured them of early redressal of their genuine issues.
The delegation comprised of Sushil Razdan, Bal Ji Marhatta, Sanjay Raina, Rupesh Koul, Roop Ji, Vinod Bhasin, Vinod Dhar, Satish Bhat and Pankaj Ji.
