JAMMU, Mar 25: Mission Statehood Jammu Kashmir (MSJK) activists here today staged a protest demonstration against the installation of smart meters and delivering of exorbitant electric bills to the consumers.
The protest was led by MSJK president, Sunil Dimple and the protesters raised slogans against installation of smart meters.
Addressing protestors Sunil Dimple said that poor people are getting electricity bills running in thousands and lakhs of rupees.
He also flayed the daily increase in prices of petrol, diesel and domestic cooking gas and claimed that the Government is hell bent to snatch food from the mouth of poor people.
Manjiet Anand, Sachin Soi, Sat Sharma, Ajay Kumar, Arjun, Anmol and many others were also present in the protest.
