Deport illegally staying Rohingiyas, Bangladeshis before elections: SSP

JAMMU, Mar 25: Sainik Samaj Party (SSP) here today demanded deportation of illegally staying Rohingiya and Bangladeshi immigrants from J&K before the elections.
In a handout SSP president, Colonel S.S Pathania (retired) expressed concern over the silence over the issue of deportation of illegally staying Rohingiya and Bangladeshi even after more than two years of abrogation of Articles 370 and 35-A from J&K.
Colonel Pathania said that resources of the country are continuously shrinking and the graph of unemployment is rising and we as a nation cannot afford the burden of a large number of illegal immigrants.
He said that Rohingiya and Bangladeshi staying in J&K already possess ration card, voter card and aadhar card and may impact election results.
The SSP leader further said that if the illegally staying Rohingiya and Bangladeshi take anti-India stance then they may affect our war against terrorism in J&K
He urged upon the Lieutenant Governor of J&K and Union government to take a cognisance of the issue and start deportation of these illegally staying Rohingiya and Bangladeshi from J&K.
