JAMMU, Apr 29: Mission Statehood Jammu Kashmir (MSJK) workers here today staged a protest demonstration under the leadership of their president, Sunil Dimple demanding complete ban on the sale of liquor in J&K.
The protesters were holding placards and raising slogans in favour of their demands.
Addressing the protesters, Dimple appealed J&K Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha and Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah to act strictly against the drug peddlers.
He also demanded immediate ban on the sale of liquor in J&K and life imprisonment for drug peddlers for destroying the future of our youth.
The MSJK leader said that he will soon intensify anti-drug drive in J&K.
Those who were present in the protest were Peter Paul, Ronney, Ashu Peter Mattoo, Suresh Kumar, Anil Mattoo, Ch. Mohan Lal, Carnelious Gill and others.
