JAMMU, Mar 24: Movement for Peace, Equality and Justice (MPEJ) today condemned the statement of senior Congress leader, Ghulam Nabi Azad in which he alleged ‘J&K situation worse than 30 years ago.’
The members of the MPEJ said that no Hindu, Muslim, Bodh, Sikh and Christian was safe in this corrupt and caste based political system and it was the prime duty of every responsible citizen to expose all these traditional corrupt political parties and not get misled by their misleading statements.
“The present situation in the country as well as in J&K is worse only due to the corrupt and caste base politics being played by all these traditional political parties. The Congress, NC and PDP are responsible for downgrading of J&K state into two UTs because they had always misused Article 370 for their personal political interests,” they alleged.
While conveying the statement ‘J&K situation worse than 30 years ago’, Azad felt no compunction though he is one of those who are responsible for it. “It is a well known fact that children of many politicians during Congress, NC and PDP rule were selected to professional courses on the bases of impersonation in the qualifying tests, some of them were caught red handed’, they alleged.
They said the Roshni Act scam and many others have occurred because of the deliberate wrong policies of the J&K based politicians.
The members further said that the real face of BJP in implementing ‘Panchayati Raj System’ in J&K was fully exposed in view of its role played during their tenure with PDP as coalition partner. “During their regime, they amended J&K Panchayati Raj Act by announcing indirect elections for Sarpanch which was later rescinded by then Governor, NN Vohra.
They alleged that all political parties including BJP have made the Panchayati Raj Act 1989, a toothless tiger through amendments after amendments in J&K to suit their political interests.
They appealed the masses to throw out such spent forces and be prepared for a change to transform the whole system. Become a part of Aam Aadmi Party’s Rashtra Nirman Abhiyan because AAP is the only solution of all evils.
