JAMMU, Mar 8: The audio of ‘Shri Kailakh Dev Chalisa’ was released in a grand function organised by Shri Kailakh Jyotish Evim Vedic Sansthan Trust here, today.
Madhya Pradesh (MP), Home Minister, Dr Narottam Mishra was chief guest of the function while former Minister and State BJP vice president, Sham Lal Sharma was the guest of honour. The function was presided over by Trust president, Mahant Rohit Shastri.
Written by Mahant Rohit Shastri, “Shri Kailakh Dev Chalisa” has been sung by the famous singer of Duggar, Jatinder Singh and music by Sahil Nath.
The function commenced with the chanting of the Vedic Mantras. Speaking on the occasion, Madhya Pradesh, Home Minister, Dr Narottam Mishra said that Mahant Rohit Shastri has done a great job by promoting Devvani Sanskrit and Indian culture on different platforms and thus is playing a vital role in the upliftment of the society. Mishra said this Chalisa will remove many misconceptions related to the deities, particularly Nagdevta, besides playing an unprecedented role in the protection of snakes.
Sham Lal Sharma said that Mahant Rohit Shastri was an icon for the youth and through his works he is uniting the society and promoting our culture. He said that with the Chalisa written by Mahant Shastri the ‘Mahima’ of the Bawa Kailakh Dev Asthan will become more powerful.
Speaking on the occasion, Mahant Rohit Shastri said that Shri Kailakh Dev Audio Chalisa will also be uploaded on Sahil Nath HN Music Studio YouTube channel free of cost. He also appealed people to remain united and work for the preservation of their culture and moral values.
On the occasion, cartoonist, Shekhar Sharma, Sahil Nath, Brij Mohan and Prof. Sharad Chander Sharma were honoured.
Trustee, Deepak Gupta, Trust spokesperson, Prof Sharat Chander Sharma, Trust general secretary, Parbodh Sharma, Uttam Chand Sharma, Chetan Wancho, Dr Sanjay Sharma, Ajay Sharma, Raman Sharma and many others trust member were also present.
