JAMMU, Oct 14: Government Degree College Kakryal (Katra) and Government Degree College Sunderbani (Rajouri) today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to formalize cooperation in areas of academic affairs, sports activities, skill enhancement, and compliance/preparation for NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council).
The MoU aims to improve academic quality by sharing faculty expertise, joint workshops, research collaborations, and academic exchange. Further, it is aimed to enhance sports infrastructure and encourage intercollege sports events, training, and talent development. It also aims to build student and staff skills via workshops, certificate courses, soft skills training, vocational/skill based programs. It will also helps to prepare both institutions for NAAC accreditation by strengthening their IQACs, ensuring compliance with NAAC criteria, internal quality assurance, documentation, student feedback etc.
The MoU was signed by Dr Rajni Bhagat, Principal, GDC Kakryal and Dr VandanaVerma, Principal, GDC Sunderbani.
