JAMMU, May 15: A motorcyclist was killed in accident near Kunjwani Chowk here today.
As per police sources, a man identified as Jagir Singh, son of Munshi Ram, a resident of Channi was killed when his motorcycle was hit by a truck near Kunjwani Chowk area.
After conducting autopsy, the body of the deceased was handed over to legal heirs for last rites.
A case under FIR Number 84/2021 under Sections 279 and 304-A IPC has been registered at Police Station Gangyal and the driver of the truck identified as Sham Lal, son of Balvinder Raj, a resident of District Rajouri has been arrested.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
