RAMBAN, Oct 13: A motorcyclist was today killed in a road accident inside the Nashri Tunnel here while the pillion rider with him was critically injured.
Police sources informed that a motorcycle of Bullet make having number JK02DB/2671 was hit by an unknown truck leaving the rider Harmeet Singh, 20, son of Tarlok Singh, resident of Chittisinghpora, Anantnag dead.
Body of the deceased was shifted to Chennani Hospital while the injured Tarundeep Singh, 20, son of Jagdesh Singh of Chhani Jammu was referred to District Hospital Udhampur for further treatment.
Police has registered a case in this regard at Police Station Batote and started investigations.
