JAMMU, Jan 19: Sarwal police today arrested a motorcyclist along with large quantity of intoxicants.
A police spokesman said that, patrolling party from Sarwal police post led by SI Balram Sharma intercepted a motorcycle bearing registration number JMU-AD/5126.
During checking, police recovered 424 intoxicant capsules and 15 tablets, and arrested the motorcyclist, who has been identified as Tarun Gupta, son of Kamlesh Gupta of Rehari Colony.
A case under FIR No 5/15 under Section 8/21/22 Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered at police station Bakshi Nagar and investigation started.
