UDHAMPUR, May 7: A motorcyclist died while his pillion rider sustained critical injuries when their bike was hit by a truck on the National Highway in Udhampur near DPS Schools, here today
The deceased has been identified as Vinod Kumar Sharma (26), son of Chuni Lal of Chulna Panchari while the injured, identified as Gurpreet Singh (24), son of Manjeet Singh of Gole Mela, Dhar road Udhampur, was admitted to District Hospital Udhampur.
The accident took place around 7.30 p.m when the Motorcycle was hit by the Truck. Udhampur Police shifted the injured persons to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors declared Vinod Kumar Sharma as brought dead.
A case has been registered in this connection at Udhampur Police Station.
