SAMBA, May 25: A motorcycle theft has been reported from outside the Maheshwar Temple, located within the military area here.
According to the information received, Sham Lal-a resident of Madhera, Samba-stated that on Saturday evening, he went to offer prayers at the Shiv temple situated in the Maheshwar military zone. He parked his Splendor Motorcycle (bearing Registration Number JK21C-7524) outside the temple before entering to pray. Upon returning, he discovered that the motorcycle was no longer at its parking spot; despite an extensive search, the vehicle could not be traced. He further mentioned that a formal complaint regarding the incident has been lodged at the Samba Police Station. Meanwhile, taking cognizance of the matter, the police have initiated further action.
