KISHTWAR, July 5: A mother and her son were killed when their mud house collapsed due to heavy rain in Patnazi area of Block Bonjwah of this district late last night.

As per police sources, one mud house collapsed late last night due to heavy rain in Drabshalla area, in which a woman and her son were killed. Some cattle also died in the incident.
The deceased were identified as Gayani Devi (75), wife of Jagher Nath of Panchayat Patnazi and her son Prithiv Raj (40).
Drabshalla police has taken cognizance in this regard.
Meanwhile, DDC Kishtwar Angrez Singh Rana said that a revenue team has been sent to the spot to access the damage.
