SRINAGAR : Amina begum, mother of Chief Justice of Himachal Pradesh High Court Justice Mansoor Mir and Judge of the Jammu and Kashmir High Court Justice Mohammad Yaqoob Mir, passed away here last evening.
She was 85.
Amina, who was admitted to Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) Soura few days back, died last evening.
Her burial will be performed today at her native village Rajpora in Pulwama district.
She is survived by four sons and a daughter.
Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed expressed grief over the demise of mother of the justices. (PTI)
