MoS HRD honours Aryans Group of Colleges

HRD Minister Dr Shashi Tharoor honouring Aryans Group of Colleges at New Delhi on Sunday.

JAMMU, June 23: Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh has added another feather to its cap. Aryans Group has got the award for “Excellence in career building” for its contribution towards the technical education in its region. The award was given by Dr. Shashi Tharoor, Minister of State for Human Resource Development, India to Dr Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges in a function held today in IHC, New Delhi.
After receiving the prestigious award, Dr Anshu Kataria said that he was honoured to receive this award. He added that earlier also, Aryans Group was awarded for “Excellence in Education” by Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam, Former President;  Parkash Singh Badal, Chief Minister of Punjab,  Shivraj V Patil, the Governor of Punjab and Administrator Chandigarh, Dr. Kiran Bedi, former DGP, S.Joginder Singh, Ex-Director, CBI etc.
Dr Kataria further stated that Aryans have achieved several milestones in the field of placements last year. He added that last year about 300 companies had visited the job fest and this year about 500 companies are expected to visit the campus during job fest. The group has seen 100 per cent placement of its students and now the group is trying to get students of other colleges get placed with well-known companies.
Earlier also Aryans Business School (ABS) has been ranked 48th in India by Dainik Bhaskar. ABS has also been awarded the best upcoming B-School of North India by the “Business and Management Chronicle” and Aryans has also been ranked 71st by MBA Universe.com.
