Morcha concerned over problems of snow bound people in remote areas

JAMMU, Jan 5: Bharatiya Janata Party Muslim Morcha State president, Mushtaq Noorabadi today expressed grave concern over the problems being faced by people in snow bound far flung areas of Valley.
In a statement issued here, he said that these people are cut off from rest of the State for a week now and they face acute shortage of water and food grains. He said these people have neither been electrified till date nor the water supply pipes were laid in these areas. Besides, there is no road connectivity in these locations, he added.
He said these people face it very difficult to pass the days during the winter especially when there is a heavy snowfall due to scarcity of food grains and other essentials.
Meanwhile Morcha held a meeting here today to discuss the future strategy. It said a debate will be held at Srinagar on January 12 on Article 370, 371, 372 and 373 which will also be attended by some national leaders of Party.
