JAMMU, Oct 22: Government has accorded sanction for constitution of the Monitoring Committee for preparation of Action Plan for control of Air Pollution in Non-Attainment Cities.
According to the order, Administrative Secretary, Forest, Ecology and Environment Department has been appointed as Chairman of the Committee, while Member Secretary J&K State Pollution Control Board as Member Secretary and Deputy Commissioner of Non Attainment Cities Jammu/Srinagar, Director, Industries and Commerce Department Jammu/Kashmir, Director, Urban Local Bodies Jammu/Kashmir, Director Agriculture Jammu/Kashmir and Joint Commissioner Transport Department as members.
