JAMMU, Nov 21: Many Congress leaders of Kathua here today joined Shiv Sena in the presence of its J&K president, Manish Sahni.
The new entrants were welcomed into Shiv Sena by its general secretary, Vikas Bakshi; chairman, Rakesh Gupta; vice president, Sanjeev Kohli and president Kamgar Wing, Raj Singh.
The new entrants were made aware about Shiv Sena’s ideology and policies and were administered oath to serve the society, nation and religion.
Speaking on the occasion, Manish Sahni expressed satisfaction over progress made by Shiv Sena in J&K.
Prominent among the new entrants was Mohinder Pal Sharma whom Sahni appointed as Shiv Sena vice president for J&K.
Other who joined Shiv Sena were Deepak Singh, Sunil Kumar, Naresh Kumar, Tarun, Pradeep Chowdhary, Ram Chowdhary, Rakesh Kumar, Poorna Chand and Bharat Bhushan.
Gulam Rasool Lone and Sumeet Abrol were also present on this occasion.
