Modi urges party MPs to bolster public trust in Centre’s schemes 

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today called upon party MPs to work for further strengthening the public trust that has been created in the Government following launch of various pro-people schemes.

The PM’s remarks came at an informal interaction with the BJP legislators from Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh at his residence. External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ananth Kumar too were present in the meeting.

The BJP legislators of the two states praising the Prime Minister for giving fillip to developmental schemes and bringing about a substantial visible change in the villages and lives of poor and peasants during the last three years of his reign said the initiatives have considerably impacted masses.

The legislators also gave suggestions about schemes such as Prime Minister Fasal Bima Yojana, Mudra Yojana, Soil Health Card Plan and insurance schemes.

PM told the attendees that with the recent changes that politics in India has seen, it is essential to understand the changing landscape also. (AGENCIES)
