JAMMU, Feb 12: “Modi Mantra of development will sweep upcoming Parliament elections, as his four and half years performance has outclassed the hollow and dubious claims made by Congress and its allies since independence”. This was stated by BJP national vice-president & J&K Prabhari, Avinash Rai Khanna at a party function held at BJP Headquarters here, today.
During the function political activists from different parties hailing from R. S. Pura, Ramban and other areas, joined the BJP. BJP State president, Ravinder Raina and other senior leaders, were also present on the occasion. The new entrants pledged to work for strengthening the party at grass root level.
BJP State general secretary (Org.), Ashok Kaul, former Dy. CM Kavinder Gupta, State general secretary, Dr. Narinder Singh, Mayor JMC, Chander Mohan Gupta, MLCs Ch. Vikram Randhawa, Charanjit Singh Khalsa, Surinder Ambardar and many other prominent BJP leaders were present on the occasion.
Avinash Rai Khanna, while welcoming the new entrants into the party fold said, “today every nationalist person is joining the BJP after being influenced by the strong policies of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi-led Central Government”. He said the Centre is working on every loophole that has been “left in the system since independence” and all efforts are being made to uplift the status of neglected and rejected sections of society. “Under the strong leadership of Modi, India has witnessed phenomenal increase in its graph on global platform,” he added.
Former MLA, Ramban Bharat Gandhi, Ex. VC SC Board & Senior leader, PDP Bhushan Dogra, Sarpanch Dalip Kumar, Abhijit Jasrotia national spokesperson PDP, S. Bachan Singh zonal president PDP, Santokh Singh, zonal vice-president PDP, Bishan Dass, zonal vice-president, PDP, Madan Lal Sarpanch, Kamlesh, Sagar Chand, Capt. (retd) Gurdyal, Ch. Ramdass, Bahadur Lal along with their supporters joined BJP in the presence of BJP’s national and state leaders.
Welcoming the new entrants into the party fold, State BJP president, Ravinder Raina said the party’s policy of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikaas” is attracting prominent persons from various political parties. “The people from every section have a strong belief that as a worker of the BJP, they will be in better position to serve society and the nation with a clean and clear mind,” he added.
