Dr Jitendra said that dialogue with the new voters was very significant as a number of these youth might have no recollections of pre-2014 era when there was pessimism across the country and to understand the importance of present time gains, it was essential to draw a comparison between the two.
“Those who have seen pre-2014 years, remember the time of unemployment, disappointment, corruption and scams after scams. There was also a lack of esteem and the youth were looking for the opportunity outside the country while the world had a poor opinion about India,” said Dr Jitendra Singh.
Claiming that the scenario has changed after the arrival of Narendra Modi at the national stage, Dr Jitendra said that due to the painstaking and consistent efforts taken by the Prime Minister in the last 10 years, India is now held in high esteem at the global stage and her youth command a high stature for their merit.

While interacting with the first time voters, mostly class 12th and first year college students, the Union Minister said that these voters of today will be the Century youth of 2047 when India celebrates 100 years of its independence.
“This is one of the best times happening for the youth. Therefore, you should make the best use of opportunities available. With the state-of-the-art technology available, the youth should leverage it as they should feel a sense of pride having been declared the architects of India in 2047,” he exhorted the gathering.
The “Nav Matadata Sammelan” was organised by Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) to mark the National Voters’ Day.
