RAJOURI, Mar 11: BJP J&K general secretary and former MLC, Vibodh Gupta today expressed his satisfaction over various steps announced by LG Manoj Sinha for the welfare of PoJK displaced people. He said that BJP Government under the leadership of PM, Narendra Modi stands for poor, marginalised and last in the queue.
Talking to media persons here, today he said there is the main essence of “Vanchito Ko Variyata” slogan given by PM Modi and which is the guiding force for all developmental policies and programmes of the Government.
Vibodh appreciated various welfare measures announced by LG Manoj Sinha after inaugurating ‘LG’s Special Governance camp for displaced persons’ of POJK at Sports Stadium in Bhour Camp, Jammu on March, 6. He welcomed the steps taken by the LG’s administration for regularization of all the colonies of the PoJK displaced people.
He also praised the Lt. Governor’s commitment towards welfare of PoJK displaced people and to those who are most in need. Vibodh specifically complimented Lt. Governor for announcing construction of a Samriti Bhawan in the memory of those who lost their lives during migration in 1947 under operation Gulmarg launched by Pakistan.
He also complimented LG for taking up with the Centre the very genuine issue of displaced families of PoJK who failed to avail “one-time Central assistance timely”. This he said displays the love, regard and respect of the Government towards PoJK displaced people.
Vibodh called upon all the families of PoJK displaced people living outside UT of J&K to come forward and avail the benefits of Skilling, self-employment, social assistance, financial inclusion, and other welfare schemes announced by the Government. This is a step towards realising the dream of “Akhand Bharat”, Vibodh added.
He said measures announced by Government for the PoJK displaced people, would go a long way in providing much needed relief to these people. Vibodh said that his party fully supports the focussed efforts to improve the lives of PoJK displaced people.
