PURMANDAL, Apr 13: Campaigning for the party candidate Jugal Kishore Sharma, senior BJP leader Arun Kumar Sharma today convened a meeting of the party workers at Nagrota and highlighted the achievements of Modi Government.
While addressing the party workers, Arun Sharma threw light on the works done by Modi Government for upliftment of common masses and upholding security and integrity of the country. He appealed people to vote and support in favour of BJP candidate of Jammu Parliamentary constituency Jugal Kishore Sharma for his victory with record margin.
Arun Sharma drew attention towards PM Modi’s statement at Udhampur rally on Friday where the latter announced restoration of statehood to J&K and Assembly elections here very soon. He exhorted the party workers to tighten their belt for ensuring victory of BJP in all polls. “Besides establishing peace and ending decades long terrorism, Modi has initiated an era of development in Jammu Kashmir and every nationalist must strengthen the hands of our Prime Minister to ensure permanent peace,” he added.
BJP leader Shashi Vaid also addressed the gathering and exhorted the party workers to ensure maximum voting by encouraging the people to cast vote.
