RAJOURI, Dec 6: The Union Government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has initiated numerous welfare schemes to uplift the people who were left behind in the development and even the basic amenities of life in last 70 years.
This was stated by former minister and J&K BJP vice-president Sham Lal Sharma while speaking during a series of programme including Booth Jan Samvad and Viksit Bharat programmes, besides a party meeting of Nowshera-Sunderbani district chaired by president Neena Sharma at Lamberi.
“The people living in the remote rural pockets, hilly and border areas have been the worst sufferers along with certain particular social classes like OBCs, SCs, women etc. who were used only as a vote bank by the family based political parties of the nation. It is only the Modi Government that gave fair representation and empowerment to all these sections in nine and half years of its Government at the Centre,” he added.
Along with Sham Lal, senior party leader and prabhari district Nowshera-Sunderbani Sanjay Kumar Baru reviewed Booth Jan Samvad and Viksit Bharat programmes and also addressed the party at Lamberi.
Sanjay Baru said that BJP has practiced the spirit of equality and empowerment of every section in the society in the letter and spirit. He asked the party activists to devote themselves to the mission of PM Modi to achieve the target of an equitable and prosperous nation.
Neena Sharma discussed in detail the progression of Booth Jan Samvad and Viksit Bharat programmes in the district by the local party leaders.
Proceedings of the meeting were conducted by BJP district general secretary Pritam Sharma and vote of thanks presented by local DDC member Sangeeta Sharma.
BJP leaders Capt Ramesh Kumar, Mool Raj, Rakesh Raina, BDC chairman Bal Krishan, district office bearers, Mandal presidents and youth leaders as the main speakers for Booth Jan Samvad participated in these programmes.
