JAMMU, Oct 15: Senior BJP leader and former MLA, Ashwani Sharma today said that the BJP as well as its Government at the Centre under Prime Minister, Narendra Modi is concerned for the development of every region and welfare of all the sections of the society.
Interacting with people at Bishnah village during his visit today he said that BJP is the only political party whose cadre is always at the doorsteps of the people without any leave or holiday and working tirelessly to help every household in availing the benefits of numerous schemes meant for the socio-economic upliftment.
Ashwani Sharma said that Narendra Modi took over as Prime Minister of India in 2014 and during the last more than nine years, his Government has taken one historic decision after the other, exclusively for Jammu and Kashmir and its people, which has brought many changes. He said that the erstwhile State of Jammu and Kashmir, now Union Territory has witnessed historic development with the abrogation of Article 370 and 35 A.
Modi Government has taken great step for full integration of J&K with the rest of the country. Today, there is no separate Constitution and Flag and National Tricolor has true honour here, which is a big achievement, he said and added that J&K is fast moving on the path of peace, progress and prosperity.
He said game changing projects were sanctioned by Modi Government for J&K, which included AIIMS, IIT, IIM, Jammu Zoo, Biotech Park at Kathua, Seed Processing Park at Kathua, Chenani -Nashri tunnel, Jammu-Akhnoor road four lanning, power projects, bridges, highways etc.
He heard the problem of the people related to settlement of bank loan, construction of road, regularisation of SPO, tile work, lane and drain in main bazaar Bishnah and assured them that he will take up them with concerned officers for settlement.
