Modi Govt committed to make India self reliant: Nirmal Singh

JAMMU, June 29: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) held a live digital interaction with beneficiaries of various Government sponsored welfare schemes of Kathua district from party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, here today.
Former J&K BJP president and former Dy. CM, Dr. Nirmal Singh, J&K BJP vice-president, Yudhvir Sethi, party spokesperson and former Minister, Rajeev Jasrotia, former MLA, Kuldeep Kumar and former MLA Charanjit Singh Jasrotia discussed the achievements of the first year of Modi 2.0 Government with the actual beneficiaries at their places through various social media platforms.
Former party president and former Minister, Sat Sharma and party general secretary and former MLC, Vibodh Gupta were also present on the occasion.
BJP district Kathua president, other BJP office bearers, activists and beneficiaries participated in the programme with the use of digital aids from their areas. The interaction focused on the various benefits given to the beneficiaries under the Government sponsored welfare schemes with the sharing of their personal experiences and issues as well.
Dr. Nirmal Singh embarked upon the various achievements of the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi led Government and the effective steps taken to combat the Corona Pandemic. He said “With the powerful vision of Modi Government, we are successfully transforming ourselves for the challenges posed”,. Besides, we are connecting digitally with the masses, developing self dependence in every sphere and this is true for every single person right from top to bottom”.
He said that today, India has created example for the whole world. He talked of Government’s liberal policies and their roles in self reliance in economic, defense, science and technology, agriculture etc. He also promoted the idea of entrepreneurship for development and self reliance.
Yudhvir Sethi, paid respects to those who have made supreme sacrifices at Galwan Valley as well as other parts of the region. He also remembered party activists and others who laid down their lives for the nation and the society. He called for collaborative efforts for making India as completely “Atma Nirbhar”.
Rajeev Jasrotia, stressed that essential reforms were taken to make the nation self sufficient in every field like food, medicines, defense etc.
Beneficiaries of Government sponsored welfare schemes also enumerated the number of benefits they got with the Government policies, wherein their expressed their satisfaction of the way BJP activists have served the society in the Corona lockdown. Kuldeep Kumar presented the vote of thanks.
