RAJOURI, Mar 5: Every party especially the Congress has promoted the politics of ‘Parivarwad’ while BJP is the only organisation which has its roots in its struggle for people and which is the party of workers and has also emerged as a formidable base for its overwhelming success, senior BJP leader and former MLC Vibodh Gupta said during his address to party workers here today.
He along with district president, Rajinder Gupta addressed a series of party meetings at Dhangri, Bal, Sarano and Potha. Taking a dig at opposition, Gupta said that family affiliation is important in other parties to acquire top positions while in BJP common workers who have put posters (on walls) & held flags have reached to top now.
Lauding the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi for his efforts to establish peace and prosperity in J&K, Gupta said,” Terrorism and stone-pelting have been curbed while the process of new opportunities in the State is in pipeline which will soon revolutionise its economy and overall prosperity”, he added.
Gupta further said that J&K suffered political instability and corruption for decades. “However, today transparency and accountability is at the helm of affairs and UT is ushering into a stable and glorious era”, he added.
District president, BJP Rajinder Gupta also lauded BJP workers for contributing their level best for highlighting the issues of common men. He further appealed them to have one to one interaction with the people and enlighten them with the new Central sponsored welfare schemes. “We are committed to develop villages, youth and remote areas’’, Rajinder said.
Speaking on the occasion, Mandal Pardhan Saurav Sharma complimented former MLC Vibodh Gupta for his commendable efforts during his tenure to ensure overall development of Dangri. Senior BJP leader, Rakesh Raina also spoke on the occasion.
