JAMMU, Oct 1: The Central Government committed to provide world-class amenities to the people of Jammu and in the future, the City of Temples will be among the greenest and cleanest cities of the country.
This was stated by senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta while starting development work near Green Field School in A/D Block Gandhi Nagar Jammu in presence of Vinay Gupta district president and councillor Ward 20, Rahul Kumar.
Kavinder said that the Central Government under the leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi remains committed to provide world-class infrastructure and all the amenities to the people of Jammu. The BJP Government at the Centre has granted adequate funds time to time for the overall development of Jammu so as this mission goes on, without any hindrance, he said and assured that the liberal funding from the Centre will continue in the future also.
The former Deputy Chief Minister said that Jammu Municipal Corporation has been working round the clock for the overall development of the Jammu city and the day is not far when the Temple City will rank among the top positions in cleanliness and greenness in the entire country.
Councillor Rahul Kumar said that several works are in the pipeline for the uplifting of this Ward and welfare of its people. He said that he is working day and night to make Ward Number 20 a Model Ward so that other wards look up to it.
Later, the Councillor met with people of the area and listened to the grievances of people of the area and assured for their timely redressal.
Among others who were present include District Secretary Narinder Koki, Mandal President Neeraj Puri, Mandal Secretary Rachit Khosla, Ward President Satbir Singh, Rikki Gupta, Sandeep Gupta, Sandeep Sethi, Ashok Sethi and Rajesh Khullar.
