JAMMU, Dec 19: Senior Congress leader and former MLA Billawar, Dr Manohar Lal Sharma today alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was indulging in dual standards by allowing its own party ministers to indulge in corrupt practices.
In a press statement the Congress leader accused the BJP Government over the tactics of Modi on his dual standards to allow its own leaders including ministers and associates to do open loot of public money by all means while preaching others to be honest and fair. Dr Sharma said that Modi always posses himself and its associates only honest souls on the earth and all others as corrupt.
Dr Sharma quoted several examples of BJP ministers and leaders having involved in corrupt practices and no action was ever taken by Modi or the party national president. He referred to “VYAPAM” scam in which more than 45 people lost their lives with an involvement of thousands crores of rupees in which CM of MP, SR Singh Chouhan along with family members, its cabinet colleagues and various leaders of BJP and RSS are said to be directly involved.
He further said BJP is fully exposed over popularly known Lalit Gate scam issue in which Foreign Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and CM of Rajasthan Vasundara Raje Scindia are under question to help Modi, who was involved in Hawala transaction in the infamous IPL scam.
In Maharashtra Govt their Social Welfare Minister Pankja Munde is involved in multi- crore scam of allotment of supply orders without adapting any codal formalities and Vinod Karvekar I&FC Minister also involved in Irrigation works allotment scam.
Chhattisgarh CM Raman Singh and his family members are involved in CAPD scam but there is no action. In another land allotment scam of Maharashtra, Govt land was allotted to BJP MP Hema Malini and in Gujrat former CM Anandi Ben Patel allotted Govt land to her daughter worth crores on nominal price.
In the recent corruption case of Jammu and Kashmir, two BJP ministers are involvement knee deep corrupt practices. One senior BJP Minister allegedly demanded and accepted Rs 13.50 crores money, one top end car and a flat from BJP MLC to grant NOC to establish housing colony while old currency notes worth Rs 5 crores had been intercepted by the police and Income Tax authority from the official vehicle of senior BJP minister in Jammu city. The BJP did not bother to hold inquiry or take action against any. It is supporting the corrupt elements in the party and stood exposed.
